Happy New Year and welcome to 2021! We can’t be the only ones who secretly hoped that the clock would strike midnight on January 1st, and suddenly the world would shift back to normal, right? While 2020 was an incredibly difficult year for so many people in our community, we would like to believe that 2021 will be a year of healing, hope, and rebalance.
December and January are often a time for the STYFiRE team to set our goals, reconnect with our families and friends, and begin the new year excited and energized to find you the property of your dreams. While things are certainly not normal, a few things haven’t changed here at our headquarters. Our main goals this year: help you buy and sell your house; help businesses find a commercial space, and we really hope to create a stronger bond with our community. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s taught us the importance of community!
Most of our team is working from home, and while this has its hiccups (don’t be surprised if a child interrupts a Zoom call every once in a while), we are still able to provide top notch service. How do we this, you ask? We are able to meet with you over Zoom; we offer virtual tours of properties, and we are still able to take you on personal tours of properties (following all health protocols). During lockdowns, we don’t offer your typical open houses, but with the advancements in technology, most clients find they get a very good idea of a property by looking at the pictures, doing the virtual tour, and even simply doing a google map street view or a quick drive-by of the property.
Yes, the market in Ottawa is hot, competitive, and moving very quickly, but with us on your side, you don’t have to be stressed about navigating these uncharted waters. In future posts, we’ll analyze the market and share our hot tips, but for now, we wanted to reach out to say: hey, how are you doing? How’s life? What’s happening in your world? Reach out!
